Digital audio, video, surveillance system and analysis equipment bring many advantages to the Forensic Laboratory.However, it is critically important that they are not properly used only in stand-alone mode, but that their full advantage are further leveraged by integrating each individual equipment item within an environment where they can all talk to each other easily and be controlled quickly and accurately by computer systems in order to gain maximum advantage from the technology.
